Julie's Joint ~ Where music turns friends into family. House concert smack dabbed in the middle of the San Fernando Valley, intimate setting, dinner including bbq pulled pork and the fixins', desert and song circle! Performers have been Venice, Wendy Waldman, Steve Postell, Severin Browne, Tom Corbett, The Jone's Gang, Nathan McEuen, Brad Colerick, Houston Jones, Berkley Hart, Bernie Larsen, Dave Morrison, and lot's more. Opening the night, as always, is John Zipperer and the Current Band. Known as one of the greatest Americana artists in all of SoCal and as the King of the Singalong, John and his band will move you with powerful ballads, get you swinging with jazzy melodies, get you stomping to bluegrass rave-ups and get all the Zippettes up dancing to some rocking, good-time, original music classics! The latest incarnation of his Current Band features an amazing all-star lineup of Nick Kirgo on guitar and vocals, Mark “Pocket” Goldberg on bass and Dave Beyer on drums, with Tara Sitser and Leslie Barker on vocals.
