I am thankful that Introspective, and the music has reached #1 on The Roots Music Report Top 50 Pop Albums, and #1 on the Singer Songwriter Top 50 Album Charts. Along with #2 on NACC Top 30 Folk Adds Chart, #14 on the Top 50 California Album Chart. And Even though it came out at end of year it was #8 Album for the Year 2024. With many Station Top 10 Adds, all 11 songs have been in top 10 & 20 on the various Top 50 Song Charts with six or more at #1, #2 , and in the top ten.

Several songs (Do You Remember), and (Too Many Moons) and others have gone to #1, #2 with eight songs in Top10 on the Singer Songwriter Top 50 Songs Charts. And, to #4, #5, #6 #7 #8 on Top 10 with other songs in Top 20 and 30 on The Pop Top 50 Songs Chart.

NewCoastRecords has released Introspective, the eighth full length album by Bruce Guynn, the Santa Cruz-based musician approaching 40 years as a professional. Called “One of the pioneers of California’s Redwood Coast Sound,” by Essentially Pop, Guynn describes Introspective as “a journey through life’s experiences with the power of music and poetry to guide us.
The creative and recording process was a time of musical growth on all levels.

”Every instrument I played was an opportunity to advance as a musician improvising, creating the parts that were best for the songs in prosody, and harmony with the words emanating from my heart, mind, and memories”.

Introspective also concerns living in today's divisive times and the struggle for power with the hope that people can put their differences aside and appreciate the humanity in all of us. “As one listener recently shared ‘Too Many Moons’ is an intriguing song, very spiritual. It speaks in ancient terms to the world today“

“I wrote these songs and created this album Introspective because I had to share it. I want music to bring people together, but also take us further in the search for common ground.
Over the years I have had a direct connection with my fans. I see them as my community, and many shared how the music helped them in difficult times, or just made them feel better. That knowledge gave me my true reason to make and share music.”

Over the last four decades, Bruce has performed throughout Santa Cruz ,Monterey, San Francisco Bay Area, California, West Coast, USA, and worldwide. Tours have taken him to six continents, including music festivals in America, Africa, Australia, Asia, China, Europe, and entertaining the Military and Veterans around the world.
