Born between two rivers, raised by an eagle eyed mama, indie folk singer-songwriter Aslin was raised on Sauvie Island outside of Portland Oregon. An avid listener of familial tales, Aslin grew up inspired by the stories closest to her. Her songwriting career was off with a bang once she managed to save up for a guitar. Aslin left Sauvie Island at 18 to set off on a Dylan-esque inspired conquest of New York City. Aslin’s second EP “The Sauvie Island Project” released as she was studying at music business at NYU.
Aslin had the opportunity to gig New York City coffeehouses, move to Nashville to pursue songwriting, and in the spring of 2023 opened for her idol Phoebe Bridgers at Middle Tennessee State University where she was chosen as the student opener. Now she hopes to settle back into life in Portland Oregon to join the budding indie songwriting scene of the Pacific Northwest once again.
