AJAYE (“A.J.”), spends her time in her home of Nashville TN fitting the truth into a three minute package. Inspired by artists like Brandi Carlile and Shawn Colvin, her writing lives between modern folk and Americana and explores the every day in an extraordinary way. Born in a small town in British Columbia, Canada, her inspiration comes from growing out of what was expected of her to carve her own path in life.

Earning a name performing in the Nashville club scene, including regular performances at the legendary Bluebird Cafe, AJAYE is an award-winning artist who has built a solid reputation as an outstanding vocalist and songwriter both in Canada, the United States and Europe. She was awarded the 2019 British Columbia Country Female Artist of the Year, was recently featured in Rolling Stone AUS and American Songwriter, has performed on Today in Nashville and CTV Morning Live, is an endorsed artist with AMI Guitars and Lanikai Ukuleles, and performs regularly across North America and Europe.
