Before the holiday craziness sets in please join us Sunday, November 12, 2023, as we welcome singer/songwriter JD Eicher back to the (self-proclaimed) prestigious Krobath Concert Patio (or the Krobath Living room if the weather doesn’t cooperate). Some of you will remember JD from our 2019 Ugly Sweater Holiday Show, or our first show coming out of lock-down in June 2021 so you already know how awesome he is! Our shows are open invite, so please feel free to bring a friend or two – just let us know how many are coming so we can plan. As always, we will provide some food and non-alcoholic drinks, but please feel free to BYOB and, if you choose, an appetizer or dessert to share. We will plan to be outside (weather depending), so feel free to bring a lawn chair as well. An Introduction to JD Eicher: JD Eicher is a Youngstown, OH-area born and bred musician known for soaring, cinematic vocals and meaningful, well-crafted lyrics. He possesses “an original voice, both literally and figuratively. With a lyrical talent culled from the great tradition of American singer/songwriters, Eicher also brings the melodic sensibility of great British songwriters such as Paul McCartney and Elvis Costello." (Wildy's World) With four full-length albums to his credit, JD was enlisted in 2016 to create the soundtrack to author Nicholas Sparks’s (The Notebook, A Walk To Remember) 20th novel, Two By Two. The now stand-alone release consists of songs culled from his previous albums, along with the title track, written specifically for the novel and its themes. An artist who tours extensively in the US, Eicher also founded the Youngstown, OH-based JD’s Summer Songfest festival in 2014, which showcases national and local artists and raises money for a variety of community non-profits. He has shared billing with a wide range of well-known acts, including Coldplay, Maroon 5, Train, Dave Matthews Band, The Fray, Matt Nathanson, Sister Hazel, and more. All donations, merchandise sales, and tips go 100% to the artists to keep them making great music! Please let us know if you’re coming so we have an idea on the number of guests to expect. Light food provided, feel free to bring something to share if you would like to. BYOB. As any day in PA, weather can be pretty unpredictable. Our goal is to have the show outdoors if weather allows so please bring your favorite lawn chair. We’ll be firing up the fire pit after the show so please feel free to stick around. If the weather doesn't cooperate we'll be setting up indoors.
