BYOB, SOFT DRINKS PROVIDED BRING YOUR FAVORITE FESTIVAL CHAIR Jeffrey made his Cozy Cabin debut in 2019, returned in July 2021, and joins the Threepeat Club with his third appearance! Everyone knows Jeffrey. I call him a musical chameleon, he can sing just about any song and make it his own. He's been practically nonstop for the past year, continuing his collaborations with Light of Day, featured artist in the "Celebrating David Bowie" tour with Todd Rundgren and Adrian Bellew last fall, and has played throughout Europe, New England, the Middle Atlantic and Tri-State area. "The biggest pleasure I derive from this is playing live," Jeffrey notes. “There’s nothing more satisfying for me than a good live gig. I’m in control, but the audience can take it to a place that’s higher than I can imagine. When I show up for a live gig, I don't need much, there's no rider. It’s just, turn it on, let the audience in, and we'll do the rest. It’s the best job anyone could ever have.” With more than a quarter-century of recording and performing under his belt, Jeffrey is enjoying life and music more than ever--just glance through his Facebook and Instagram pages! "I know what the job is about so there’s nothing to stress about," he says. “I know that there’s people out there who want it, so I have the opportunity to extend their experience. I guess I could lay my albums all out and see that they tell a story, but personally I prefer to keep looking forward.” When Jeffrey hits the stage, wherever his head is at that moment is where he leads us...he can talk about the meal he had before the show, a car that caught his eye on the way to the gig, anything at all, and that stream of consciousness makes his performances so wonderfully unique--no two shows are alike, and while you know there's going to be great music, you just don't know where we'll all end up by the end of the evening.
