The Quitters

The Quitters are a guitar duo consisting of a right-side up finger picker (Stevie Coyle) and an upside down flat picker (Glenn “Houston” Pomianek). Importantly, they were two of the three founding members of the virtuoso string band, The Waybacks, and one was the long-time lead guitarist and co-founder of the Americana powerhouse, Houston Jones. Now they play together, on their own, hence the name, “The Quitters.” They deliver a mostly acoustic celebration of flatpick and fingerstyle mastery, plus vocals, spiced with humor and serendipity.

We have a lovely outdoor venue with a lawn that slopes down to a deck that acts as the stage. We can easily accommodate at least 60 people in this venue. We also have a large living room with high ceilings which provide great acoustics. This venue can accommodate 25 guests. The outdoor venue is family friendly. We encourage people to “BYOP” (Bring Your Own Picnic) to enjoy before the concert. BYOB as well. Dessert pot luck (optional) during the concert break. We provide wonderful intimate affordable live music under the stars or cozily in front of the fire on a winter's eve. Suggested donation to the musician/s: $20-$25.
