Jeremy Aaron and Belle-Skinner in Concert at Voices in the Heights
Jeremy Aaron’s style incorporates trad fiddle, jazz, soul, and poetry, but he’s rooted in the jam atmosphere, where the energy comes from spontaneous ideas and foot stomping like a musical roller coaster. His intimate songs paint poetic portraits of adirondack forests, the nature of love, and the challenges we all face. His fiddle gets your toes tapping, his guitar stylings are rich and complex, and his continuing evolution as an artist continues to surprise.
Belle-Skinner is a dark nostalgic singer-songwriter based in New York. Though her influences cover a broad range of genres - from French chansons and Russian folk to contemporary alt-pop and rock - her voice often draws comparisons to the likes of Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Jeff Buckley, and Mary Hopkin. A Kerrville New Folk and Telluride Troubadour alum, her music has been featured on several Spotify editorial playlists, and has garnered over 1 million streams worldwide.
