Hiroya is a composer, guitarist and singer-songwriter from Kyoto, Japan who creates transformative waves of sound when he plays. Using a guitar and electronic looper, Hiroya layers his meditative compositions until they become imagistic symphonies of sound—they enthrall and captivate the audience – bathing the room in harmonic resonances and complex rhythms. Hiroya won 2nd place in International Finger Style Guitar Championship both in 2018 and 2022. The show consists of a 50-minute concert followed by the recording of the Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour, which will air on WVPE Public Radio and WNIT Public Television.
