An eclectic singer-songwriter and acoustic guitar instrumentalist, and recording artist, Stan Sullivan has opened shows for nationally touring artists such as Richard Thompson, John Hammond, Rory Block and Cheryl Wheeler. Stephen Bennett will join Stan for a few songs.
Cece Borjeson has been performing regionally since 1997, both solo and as a duo with Ruth George, and with the bands Birch Creek, Alandale Rose, Nina and the Rumblings and The Portables. Known locally as a fine finger-picker on guitar, her current love is claw-hammer banjo, which has allowed her to move on from the dulcet tones of balladry to other disciplines including blues and Americana with her new-found “banjo-voice”. She’ll be presenting diverse tunes and covers by Muddy Waters, Guy Davis, Keb’ Mo, Chris Jones, Kate Campbell, John Prine and more.
