We first heard BettySoo's stunningly beautiful singing voice at a house concert about ten years ago in Austin. It was one of those nights where we had nothing to do, and decided to go listen to some live music even though we had never heard of the artist (sound familiar?). Between BettySoo's songs, that singing voice, and those hilarious stories, we became fans on the spot. Then, Jaimee Harris began talking about how much BettySoo had helped her at a time when Jaimee needed it, and we started listening again, and decided to invite her to MCC. BettySoo has released a total of seven records, plus a bunch of singles. She has been performing and touring professionally for 15+ years, and is a Kerrville New Folk Winner (in 2008).
