After a one year break, Angels' Lair is excited to announce The Riverside will be performing a house concert at Angels' Lair on Saturday, July 17, 2021. The Riverside is a contemporary melodic and harmony-driven folk string band from Southern California, founded by husband and wife Jake and Lorien Jeanson in 2012. They just released their sixth record Through Frontiers and Unlit Mines. The highly engaging four-piece dynamically performs around one microphone, where fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo, upright bass and voices craft a specific part of the story; creating intimate and savory songs that warm the heart and feed the soul. Especially for fans of Gillian Welch, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Fleet Foxes. Recommended ticket donation is $20 per person. We will have seating, but please feel free to bring your own confy low-backed chair, your own snack and your favorite beverage.
