Ian Foster and Nancy Hynes do a Christmas tour every year. But…not during the pandemic. So, this year,they decided to do something different. A livestream…but they wanted it to look and sound REALLY good. Multiple cameras, mics…and then they thought “let’s pre-tape it!” They could pick a cool location and safely invite some of their friends to perform. Pretty soon, they realized they were dreaming up a Digital Christmas Special: Christmas at Home with Ian and Nancy. Shot in the taproom of Bannerman Brewery in downtown St. John’s, Newfoundland, this show is a celebration of what Ian and Nancy like to play at Christmas time, and some of the friends they’d spend it with when they get home for the holidays. Besides Ian and Nancy, you’ll hear very special guests Jerry Stamp, Melanie O’Brien, Brian Way, and the Laing kids!
