I am super excited about the February Railway show which will happen on Valentine's Day, Friday 2/14 at 7:30pm at Studio 9! Goodnight Moonshine is the husband-wife duo of Eben Pariser and Molly Venter. You may have heard of them individually: Eben is an integral part of Roosevelt Dime which crafted a signature style of syncopated New Orleans rhythms, boogie woogie banjo, swinging blues guitar, and searingly soulful vocals; and Molly was one third of the female folk group Red Molly which was known for their intricate harmonies, and new and unique take on folk, Americana and old time songs. As a duo, Molly's smoky, colorful voice creates moody melodies and Eben complements Molly's voice with jazzy, improvisational guitar riffs and responses that weave together to make sophisticated music, sometimes with a philosophical message or character portrait. Tickets will be $25 in advance and $30 the day of the performance, and tickets should be live soon on studio9porches.com.
