Please join us for our 20th House Concert on Friday, 25-August, 2023, as we welcome singer/songwriter Steve Everett to the (self-proclaimed) prestigious Krobath Concert Patio (or the Krobath Living room if the weather doesn’t cooperate). Some of you will remember Steve from our October 2021 show, our 2019 Ugly Sweater Holiday Show, or our first house concert in Sept. 2018, so you already know how awesome he is! Our shows are open invite, so please feel free to bring a friend or two – just let us know how many are coming so we can plan. As always, we will provide some food and non-alcoholic drinks, but please feel free to BYOB and, if you choose, an appetizer or dessert to share. We will plan to be outside (weather depending), so feel free to bring a lawn chair as well. An Introduction to Steve Everett: Steve Everett is a Pop'N'Roll™ singer & songwriter from Nashville, TN. Born in Albany, GA & raised in Greensboro, NC, Steve blends positive vibes with catchy, melodic hooks and hip, clever lyrics to form his fun musical style. Steve studied music performance at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC and plays stages ranging from The House of Blues, The Rock Boat music festival, all the way to acoustic home shows. He has been fortunate enough to tour the country (solo & full band) with national acts like Hunter Hayes, Cassadee Pope, Sister Hazel, & Michael Tolcher. Steve’s music is featured in NASCAR Heat 2, 4, & 5. His three full-length albums have been nominated for "Album of the Year" at the 12th, 15th & 17th annual Independent Music Awards. His song “LMNOP” was co-written with Adam Doleac & nominated for Song of The Year at the International Songwriting Competition. In 2022 his song “What’s in the well comes up in the bucket” took third place at the International Songwriting Competition. Everett's single “Pick Your Head Up” was recently featured in Rolling Stone Magazine's top ten list. Steve also loves film, golf, sports, cigars... & high-fives. All donations, merchandise sales, and tips go 100% to the artists to keep them making great music! Please let us know if you’re coming so we have an idea on the number of guests to expect. Light food provided, feel free to bring something to share if you would like to. BYOB. As any day in PA, weather can be pretty unpredictable. Our goal is to have the show outdoors if weather allows so please bring your favorite lawn chair. We’ll be firing up the fire pit after the show so please feel free to stick around. If the weather doesn't cooperate we'll be setting up indoors.
