The Gibson Brothers with Tray Wellington Band

The Gibson Brothers—siblings Eric and Leigh Gibson—have already made over a dozen albums, but none quite like the new Dan Auerbach–produced "Mockingbird." Their newest venture is an effortless blend of classic ‘70s-infused rock and timeless country, a modern twist on their traditional sound, and harmonies that will keep you wishing for more. The celebrated duo was named back-to-back Entertainers of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association in 2012 and 2013. As players and vocalists, they are superb, harmonizing as only siblings can; as songwriters they stand without peer, having long been a band awarded for their songs and songwriting. "Mockingbird" was included in Americana Music Association’s Top 100 Americana Albums of 2019, further cementing the sibling duo as musical trailblazers. Tray Wellington Band is a high energy acoustic Newgrass group led by banjo virtuoso, IBMA Award winner, and 2019 Momentum Instrumentalist of the year Tray Wellington. This group pushes the bounds of bluegrass music, incorporating Bossa Nova, jazz, and blues elements to their originals to create a unique, new exciting sound, as well as pay tribute to their bluegrass heroes before them. Wellington’s debut EP, Uncaged Thoughts, was produced by legendary banjo player Scott Vestal, formerly of the Sam Bush Band. In addition to performing, Wellington also teaches banjo, including as an assistant teacher at Béla Fleck’s Blue Ridge Banjo Camp.
